The Other Side Of The Coin:
When it comes to your goals, they should come from a place of positivity, creativity, freedom, clarity, joy, excitement and motivation.. Your goal should bring peace and joy even If something upsets.. So why is it that goals can sometimes become stressful, and have a negative impact on ones emotions and wellbeing.. I believe there are two basic types of goals. Goals of Aspiration and Goals of Aggravation.. Our goals of aspiration are the recognition of who we aspire to truly become, minus the distractions our negative influences of the world and others.. This peaceful space of recognition is your inner peace, your self love, and your power to become the best version of you.. On the other hand there are aggravated goals.. By definition Aggravation means an intesification of a negative quality or aspect... So naturally goals derived from being aggravated or upset activate a person's negative qualities.. One of those common negatives is stress.. If a person is aggravated when setting a goal they will more then like become aggravated while persuing the goal.. Stress is counterproductive to reaching any worthwhile goal.. Do not stress.. In the pursuit of your goals you must remain focused and happy never flip to the other side of the coin.. From Beginners to Veterans in the world of fitness.. Individuals allow themselves to easily focus on the many variables related to training which can actually be a huge distraction.. Distractions in any field keep you from understanding and making a real connection to information, the processing of information, and the application of information.. A major key to progressing ( which is a major key itself) Is to focus first on TECHNIQUE.. Mastering and applying best practices.. And then using variables to further challenge and measure progression.. Bruce Lee said:
