Your approach to any task, situation, exercise or goal greatly effects the outcome.. Your mind has the ability to wonder and be elsewhere ( allowing you to mindlessly go through the motions of a meaningful event) While your body is present.. Your mind also has the ability to focus in on a level so deep everything your body does is sharp, precise, and clearly above average... For instance a great baseball player can be in a long hitting slump and nothing they do seems to get them back on track.. Practice after practice and still no change in their performance.. Usually, one of the issues is mentally something has changed, not their physical attributes.. They get into a routine of just showing up but not being completely present mentally.. It's not until they clear the mental block and get back to focusing on putting their greatest efforts in during every practice that they then began to dominate.. Now a hitting slump becomes a hitting streak... It's not the sets and reps alone or the time practicing a person puts in that makes them successful.. It's their ability to consistently have a Powerful CONFIDENT Focused Mindset that allows them to SET themselves apart from others...

As a kid growing up my mom would always say.. "TRY IS A LIE" And "Aint No Such Thing as Tryin" ... These words always stuck with me.. For one because my mom's words have a way of sticking to anyone.. But also because I understood the message.. The message was simple yet strong.. People use try as an excuse for not doing or as a form of consolation..
