Peace The OTHER SIDE OF THE COIN

The Other Side Of The Coin:
When it comes to your goals, they should come from a place of positivity, creativity, freedom,  clarity, joy, excitement and motivation.. Your goal should bring peace and joy even If something upsets.. So why is it that goals can sometimes become stressful, and have a negative impact on ones emotions and wellbeing.. I believe there are two basic types of goals. Goals of Aspiration and Goals of Aggravation.. Our  goals of aspiration are the recognition of who we aspire to truly become, minus the distractions our negative influences of the world and others.. This peaceful space of recognition is your inner peace, your self love, and your power to become the best version of you.. On the other hand there are aggravated goals.. By definition Aggravation means an intesification of a negative quality or aspect... So naturally goals derived from being aggravated or upset activate a person's negative qualities.. One of those common negatives is stress.. If a person is aggravated when setting a goal they will more then like become aggravated while persuing the goal.. Stress is counterproductive to reaching any worthwhile goal.. Do not stress.. In the pursuit of your goals you must remain focused and happy never flip to the other side of the coin.. Technique First

From Beginners to Veterans in the world of fitness.. Individuals allow themselves to easily focus on the many variables related to training which can actually be a huge distraction.. Distractions in any field keep you from understanding and making a real connection to  information, the processing of information, and the application of information.. A major key to progressing ( which is a major key itself) Is to focus first on TECHNIQUE.. Mastering  and applying best practices.. And then using variables to  further challenge and measure progression.. Bruce Lee said:
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times... Becoming a master of technique is far more beneficial than simply adding variables without Purpose, Practice and Progression..

Mindset Is The Most Important Set

2/17/2020

Your approach to any task, situation, exercise or goal greatly effects the  outcome.. Your mind has the ability to wonder and be elsewhere ( allowing you to mindlessly go through the motions of a meaningful event) While your body is present.. Your mind also has the ability to focus in on a level so deep everything your body does is sharp, precise, and clearly above average... For instance a great baseball player can be in a long hitting slump and nothing they do seems to get  them back on track.. Practice after practice and still no change in their performance.. Usually, one of the issues is mentally something has changed, not their physical attributes.. They get into a routine of just showing up but not being completely present mentally.. It's not until they clear the mental block and get back to focusing on putting their greatest efforts in during every practice that they then began to dominate.. Now a hitting slump becomes a hitting streak... It's not the sets and reps alone or the time practicing a person puts in that  makes them successful.. It's their ability to consistently have a Powerful CONFIDENT Focused Mindset that allows them to SET themselves apart from others...

We Don't Try We Train

As a kid growing up my mom would always say.. "TRY IS A LIE" And "Aint No Such Thing as Tryin" ... These words always stuck with me.. For one because my mom's words have a way of sticking to anyone.. But also because I understood the message.. The message was simple yet strong.. People use try as an excuse for not doing or as a form of consolation..
As a thinker and doer I can easily see when others refuse to think positively and do the work it takes to achieve a positive outcome...
When members of mine say " I'm trying " I say.. "Well now we know the problem " ... Do not settle for trying when it comes to your worthwhile goals and dreams.. Try new restaurants, foods, music etc... But strive, fight for and go all out for those things that are worth the effort.. Train for and learn how to accomplish your goals and put your Greatest Effort forward...

"TAKE THE STAIRS"

"TAKE THE STAIRS"
Today's society has become far more sedentary and reliant on all of our modern forms of transportation and technical advancements... While technology is great and convenient it can also be distracting and disruptive... Relying on it to the point of overuse can actually be detrimental to one's health.. Think of it this way..
The more gas and electric power you use.. The less you move using your own ENERGY.. The more you move the better.. Movement is a necessity of life.. Keep moving forward.. LITERALLY... Take The Stairs

What Our Clients Are Saying

Since 1999 I have been suffering in silence with knee pain and severe arthritis to my left ankle. I shattered my ankle which resulted into having an emergency surgery adding a 9inch plate, and 14 screws to help repair my left ankle. I had a total of two surgeries within 8 months. I lost all hope to get my ankle normal again.

I tried every gym you can think of and even spent countless time and money on so called "trainers". They never once helped me the way this company did.

We discussed my injury and immediately felt and witnessed the compassion and patience. Parrish walked me through different exercises and gave me the knowledge to nurse my ankle back to health. He asked the necessary questions and created a unique routine to ensure and avoid another injury.

I got through the workout and yes it was a challenge but I would do it all over again. I just don't know why I waited so long to come !!!! Believe me the content other trainers gave me was never helpful.

My knee feels better my ankle does too. I cant thank you guys enough!
Keep up the great work!!
PS. I WAS SORE!!STILL SORE TODAY!!
